Giro's all-mountain Xen Gloves combine toughness, durability and minimal weight while delivering impressive control and bar feel. Giro's 3mm-thick Poron XRD padding and armor provide protection and impact absorption. The bunch-free palms feature vented Clarion synthetic leather, and you get secure closures, breathable backs and Giro's Super Fit ergonomics for a custom fit and feel. Plus, fingertip silicone offers an enhanced grip.
Poron XRD is a soft, open-cell, antibacterial material that absorbs up to 90% of impact energy. It remains supple and flexible until impacted, when the molecules lock together immediately to deflect and absorb shock. In many cases, Poron XRD is also thinner, more flexible and less dense than traditional padding, so you get a more natural feel with less weight, too.
