2014 Trek Speed Concept 7.0

Trek's Speed Concept 7.0 takes your speed to new highs and your PRs to new lows. Trek makes this happen with their full carbon frame featuring wind-cheating Kammtail frame shaping that makes you faster, even in cross winds. Up front, an equally aero, completely integrated carbon fork slices the air. Trek also tucks the brakes, wheel quick releases, cables and computer sensors out of the wind for even more free speed. Turning all your dedication into velocity are precision Shimano components with wide-range cranks and Dura-Ace shifters to keep you in your aero tuck. Plus, this road rocket boasts aero Bontrager wheels and a Bontrager Race aero bar with Race Lite clip-ons and stem. Get ready for some new highs, and lows!

    Comments:

Great bike, but the noise coming from inside the frame is simply horrible. I can hear the noise even when I have my earplugs in and music on. Very dissappointing for an expensive bike

    Comments:

I saw this bike a few weeks ago and liked the weight and the feel. I did a little research about it reading all reviews good and bad. After enough research was completed I decided go ahead and buy one. I only have one 20 mile ride since I bought it and the difference between this bike and my old bike was like night and day. It feels like it almost pedals itself. When I push a little harder an immediate result is felt. The balance feels good and the way the handlebars are set it's pretty easy to get into a rhythm. Gear changes are prefect and you barely feel the gears actually switching. I would honestly buy this bike again. This bike is freaking awesome! Thanks for a well made product.

Fast, when it's not in the shop...

    Comments:

Problems from the factory with cables in lower bracket; seat adjustment screw stripped, from factory; bolts falling out on a regular basis. No, not happy at all with the Trek.

I use this for triathlons and really enjoy the ride. But i will be changing components asap; may be worth the upgrade to the next level.
